한국어Terms of Service
Last updated August 15, 2026
These terms explain what Ora does, how our estimates and provider introductions work, and the rules for using our service. Please read them carefully.
1. About these Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Ora website, the savings estimate tool, and related services (together, the “Service”), operated by Ora (“Ora”, “we”, “us”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. What Ora is — and is not
Ora is an information platform and patient-guidance service that helps international patients learn about, compare, and connect with independent, verified dentists and clinics in Korea. Ora is not a hospital, dental clinic, or healthcare provider, and does not practice dentistry or medicine. We do not diagnose, treat, or prescribe, and we do not employ the clinicians in our network.
Any care you receive is provided by an independent clinic or clinician with whom you contract directly. Ora is not a party to that relationship and is not responsible for the clinical care, advice, results, pricing, or conduct of any provider.
3. No medical advice
Content on the Service — including guides, answers, comparisons, and any estimate — is for general information only and is not medical or dental advice. It is not a substitute for a consultation, examination, or diagnosis by a licensed professional. Always seek the advice of a qualified clinician before making treatment decisions. Never disregard or delay seeking professional advice because of something you read on the Service.
4. Estimates and pricing
The savings calculator produces planning estimates only. Figures are illustrative ranges based on general market data, the inputs you provide, and approximate assumptions for treatment, travel, and currency conversion. They are not quotes, offers, or guarantees.
- Actual prices are set solely by the treating clinic, typically after an in-person examination and imaging.
- Currency figures are approximate conversions for display and may differ from real exchange rates and final billing.
- Your final cost, treatment plan, and timeline may differ materially from any estimate.
5. Provider introductions
Where you ask us to, Ora may share the information you submit with one or more clinics or clinicians so they can review your case and contact you. Any consultation, quote, treatment, payment, or agreement is strictly between you and that provider. We do not guarantee availability, acceptance, outcomes, or satisfaction.
6. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. You may sign in using a third-party provider such as Google; you are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You agree that the information you provide is accurate and that you have the right to share it.
7. Your submissions
You may upload or enter information such as treatment plans, quotes, images, or records. You retain ownership of your content. You grant Ora a limited, non-exclusive license to store and process that content solely to operate the Service and to facilitate introductions you request, as described in our Privacy Policy. You confirm you have the right to share any content you provide.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
- submit false information or impersonate another person;
- upload another person's records without authorization;
- attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, scrape, or gain unauthorized access to the Service;
- misuse provider contact details for spam or solicitation.
9. Intellectual property
The Service, including its content, design, and trademarks, is owned by Ora or its licensors and is protected by applicable laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute our content without permission.
10. Third-party links and services
The Service may link to or rely on third-party websites and services (for example, clinics, messaging apps, sign-in, or analytics providers). We are not responsible for third-party content, policies, or practices, and your use of them is at your own risk.
11. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any estimate, content, or introduction will meet your expectations.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ora and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from clinical care, treatment outcomes, travel, or your dealings with any provider. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ora from claims, damages, and expenses arising out of your misuse of the Service or your breach of these Terms.
14. Changes
We may modify the Service or these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Ora is operated by Ora Korea Co., Ltd., a company established in Seoul. Any disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of the Republic of Korea, except where the mandatory consumer protection law of your country of residence gives you the right to bring claims elsewhere.
